Devotees of St. Jude Thaddeus From Kasese Diocese Pilgrimage To Namugongo

Devotees of St. Jude Thaddeus from Kasese Diocese have made a pilgrimage to the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine, Namugongo, seeking spiritual renewal and deepening their faith.

The pilgrimage took place today, 27 October 2026, with the group led by Mr. Sabuni Sylvest.

During their visit to the Shrine, the pilgrims spent time in prayer, reflection and meditation, entrusting their lives and intentions to God through the intercession of the Uganda Martyrs and St. Jude Thaddeus.

The pilgrimage provided an opportunity for the devotees to strengthen their relationship with God and reflect on the witness of the Uganda Martyrs, whose courage and steadfastness in faith continue to inspire Christians across Uganda and beyond.

The visit to Namugongo also offered the pilgrims a moment to journey together in faith, thanksgiving and prayer, renewing their commitment to living out the Christian faith in their daily lives.

The pilgrimage stands as a reminder of the enduring devotion of Catholics from Kasese Diocese and their desire to draw closer to Christ through prayer, pilgrimage and the example of the saints and martyrs.
